2024- 2025 Tryout checklist
Parents, for tryouts and evaluations, you must have completed the following:
- Registered online for tryouts/private evaluations
- Online Tryout (nonrefundable) Fee: $100 / Private Evaluation Fee: $150 (nonrefundable)
- Walk-Up Fee: $105 (Cash or Credit Card) *$5 Credit Card Fee
- Check birth date for the correct age group, bring a copy of your birth certificate or verification of age
- Wear practice gear – i.e., shorts/spandex, t-shirt, socks, kneepads, volleyball/tennis shoes
- Arrive 1 hour before the scheduled start time for check-in
Private Tryout Requests
Private tryouts are here for any future TAV Houston players that are unable to attend the formal tryout dates, or for players that are considering moving clubs.
It is strongly encouraged that players attend tryouts, this provides the best opportunity for team placement evaluators to conduct a side-by-side evaluation and it creates the best situation to place players on the appropriate team.
Players that are considering moving clubs, we are able provide a setting that is discrete if your team is club team is still in season. We are very sensitive to the importance of finishing out the season, and also to ensuring players are comfortable.
