Ray Hedden - Club Director – Entering his 27th year as a volleyball coach, Ray is widely regarded by his colleagues as one of the best trainers in Houston. Ray has qualified teams for USAV Jr Nationals in every age group 13s-18s many of which were in Open. Ray has experience in training players of all ages in all skill sets. Branden Smeltzer, Club Director - Entering his 25th year as a volleyball coach, seventh with TAV Houston. Throughout his coaching career, Branden has successfully coached teams that have earned an Open Gold Medal and also an Open Bronze medal at the USAV Jr National Championships. In addition, he has been named coach of the year twice, and coached three separate high school teams that finished 3rd in the State Championships. Adrien Wohlschlaeger, Camp & Clinic Coordinator – Adrien has been with TAV Houston for six years now, though recently has been added to the leadership team of TAV Houston! Micah Naone, Training Coordinator – Micah brings a tremendous wealth of knowledge, having been the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Brigham Young University (BYU), and a current Lead Trainer within Gold Medal Squared (GMS). Micah has coached teams in the NCAA I finals on multiple occasions, been asked to coach semi-pro teams and will participate in the gym of Team USA this summer. mnaone@tavhouston.com

Bryan Bunn, Director of Recruiting- Bryan is a 30 year veteran collegiate coach, landing at schools such as Baylor, NC State and North Florida. As a head coach, Bunn coached 18 All-Americans, 38 all-conference players, 32 all-region performers and five conference players of the year. Eleven of his teams have won 23 or more matches, with four squads finishing in the top 10 nationally. LACIE SMITH, PERFORMANCE DIRECTOR -D-2 All-American indoor volleyball player and has also played professional beach volleyball following her collegiate career.  In addition to her role as Performance Director, Lacie will serve as the head coach for our 15U Adidas Open National volleyball team. She brings a wealth of knowledge and training experience, particularly in developing athletes to maximize their performance on the volleyball court.
